Weather anchor Al Roker recently left his fans and co-hosts, Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, in stitches after sharing his excitement at returning to the Today plaza for a live broadcast.
The last time "Today" weather anchor Al Roker filmed a live broadcast at the Today plaza was in March. That was until very recently when he returned to the plaza and cracked everybody up with his uncontrollable excitement.
Roker might have been standing out in the chilly weather, but he certainly didn't let that dampen his spirits on Thursday as he filmed outside in the "Today" plaza.

The 66-year-old left his co-hosts, Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, in laughing fits as he happily ran around the space outside of the studio, taking in the momentous occasion. The show tweeted a video in which he yelled:
"The last time I was on this plaza was March 13. It feels so good!"
Sending Guthrie and Kotb into more fits of laughter, he excitedly pressed himself up against the glass window of Studio 1A where the delighted anchors sat, unable to conceal his joy.
When Guthrie encouraged him to yell out his signature catchphrase - "My people!" Roker did not hesitate to yell "My People" even though the normally-crowded plaza was nearly empty due to the pandemic.
Roker's long-awaited return came weeks after he first revealed that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer on November 6.
Fans responded with tweets, with many of them accepting that Roker truly is a national treasure. Roker's precious moments of happiness at the "Today" plaza came just days after he returned to the "Today" show on November 23.
This was two weeks after he had 5-hour prostate cancer surgery. The 66-year-old "Today" weatherman and co-host returned to the studio bright-eyed and bushy-tailed on a Monday.
In typical Al Roker fashion, he thanked everyone who supported him, including the medical personnel, his co-hosts, and fans. He said:
"Great medical care and the love of friends and family — it goes a long way. I feel good, I really do!"
He added that he recently paid a visit to the doctor and was told that everything looks good. At the moment, there was no sign of cancer, but he would still have to get checked every six months for the next five years.
The long-awaited return came weeks after he first revealed that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer on November 6. Still, the good news remains that everything is alright with Al Roker.
While still celebrating his homecoming, the "Today" show's national treasure told his co-hosts and viewers that he would be returning to the hospital for a blood test in January.
Judging from his hilarious excited outburst at his return to the plaza, it is evident that he is back to his usual bubbly self, and fans could not be happier.
