Marco A. Wells of Norfolk Virginia where he was known as “CO” received his heavenly wings on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.
CO was born in Norfolk, Virginia on September 15, 1976, to Priscilla Wells and Anthony Billups. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He attended Norview High School and was employed by Bell Company where he received certifications. Through the craft program at Bell, he became OSHA 30 and Aerial platform lift qualified. CO was a skilled plumber and pipefitter that mastered the installation of all types of pipe systems. He was also fluent in the art of brazing, soldering, threading, and fusing pipe. He was well respected by his peers, supervisors, and clients.
CO loved to dance, talk trash, and dress to impress; his hat game was fire. His presence filled any room he entered because he brought laughter wherever he went. Many would say he was the life of the party or better yet, he was the party. CO is truly one of dem “Bowling Park Boyz 4Life!” He loved sports and was a diehard Commanders and Lakers fan. CO had a generous heart and often encouraged others. He enjoyed traveling with his fiancé to many new places whether near (New York, Louisiana, California, etc.) or far (Mexico, Columbia, Bahamas, etc.) They enjoyed zip lining, skiing, ATV riding, or just relaxing by the pool or beach.
But what he loved doing the most was spending time with his kids!
Marco was proceeded in death by his father, Anthony Billups, and leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Priscilla Bains (Tome Baines); his Fiancé, Natoshia McCown’ his Brothers, Dwayne “Popa” and Larry “LB” Benton; his Sister Shayla “Lil Sis” Wanamaker (Jerome Wanamaker)’ his Daughters, Cierra “C Bear” McCloud, Kaniya “ Black N Mild” Wells and Ka’Mico “Lil Co” Wells; his Sons, Damarco “Lil Marco” Smith and Jaelle “Deucester” Wells; six grandchildren, Rinyah McCloud, Jaylin McCloud, Kori McCloud, Kevonte Morgan, Promise Smith, and Damarco Smith; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
