Three Things You Didnt Know Cynthia Bailey

Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta has given us some of reality TV’s biggest personalities.  With a cast full of strong, opinionated women, viewers are usually in for a treat whenever an episode is aired.  Cynthia Bailey, an Alabama native who joined the show during its third season, added an entirely new personality to the mix.  Often quiet and reserved, Bailey’s storyline has consisted mostly of her relationship with Peter Thomas, who she married at the end of the show’s third season against her family’s wishes. Cynthia’s questionable choices have often made her fodder for viewers and other cast members.  However, she has proven that although she tends to be quiet in an attempt to avoid drama, she has no problem speaking up when necessary. Still, as with most quiet people, Bailey can sometimes come off as distant and mysterious. Here are three things you didn’t know about Cynthia Bailey.

3. Cynthia Bailey once appeared on The Cosby Show.

In 1990, Cynthia Bailey made a small appearance on The Cosby Show as a character named Sheniqua Watkins. Although her time on the show was short, Bailey said that her experience working with the cast was positive.  In light of recent allegations regarding Bill Cosby, Bailey stated: “I was completely shocked. I’ve known Mr. Cosby, he’s someone that I’ve worked with. He’s always been respectful to me, very appropriate to me. It was just kind of crazy watching all of this, but I never really experienced any of those things with him.”

2. Cynthia Bailey had a role in an 80s zombie movie.

In 1985, Cynthia Bailey had a role in a low-budget zombie themed movie titled The Dark Power.  Unfortunately, the film received mostly negative reviews and never reached the cult classic status of many other 80s horror films.

1. Cynthia Bailey was a model.

Long before joining the cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Cynthia Bailey enjoyed a career as a model.  Bailey has appeared on the cover of several magazines, and currently runs The Bailey Agency School of Fashion.
